1. Mount Fuji

One of the most iconic landmarks in Japan, Mount Fuji is first up on our list. The 3776 metre high, active volcano is the highest mountain located just outside of Tokyo! Bask in the majestic, panoramic view of Mt. Fuji by the Fuji Five Lake region at the base of the mountain. About 1000 meters above sea level, it’s one of the best places to view the mountain from a close distance and also a good base for climbing ? Be warned hiking enthusiasts, climbing Mt. Fuji is only allowed during the period in which trails are open in the summer. So plan your trip wisely! 2. Shibuya Pedestrian Scramble

This crossing is probably the most famous (and busiest) pedestrian scramble in the world! Jam packed with shoppers, students and communters, the never ending flow of human traffic is truly a sight to behold?
